Disciples Women

A network of women committed to the justice-seeking, compassion-focused mission of Jesus Christ.

Women’s Fellowship: Join us on the First Saturday of the Month for fellowship and bible study.  We gather on the first Saturday of the month for Bible Study from August to April.  We also use this time to plan for our women’s outreach initiatives. The Disciple Women’s Ministry Just Women Bible Study for 2021 will begin in August.  During the summer months we gather for fellowship often working a project around the church and then going out for lunch at a local restaurant. Regional Women’s Retreat: Every fall we gather with Disciple Women from other churches in Alabama and Northwest Florida for a retreat. Women of all ages are welcome to join us. Contact the church for information about our 2021 retreat which will take place in September.

Disciples Women Annual Yard Sale: Each year the women of MCC organize a yard sale to raise money for missions of the church. The yard sale helps relieve our members of unneeded household items and provides an opportunity for others to purchase gently loved items at a reasonable price all while raising money to serve local outreach ministries.
